zakup: YZF R1 RN09

R1 2003:
Having never clicked with this bike, I think it is now time for me to sell her.
2003- 53 plate in black and blue. This is the first of the FI models, with the letterbox tail light.
17500 miles on the clock. With service history. . It will have just been serviced for whoever it goes to.
It has Avon's storm 2 tyres on it, with plenty of life left in them.
It is Taxed until 28/02/12
I will have it MOT'd before it goes, so a full year there.
Extras include F.Fabari screen.
Harris Stering damper.
Pazzo short leavers,
Single seat cowel (pillion included)
Hel Braided lines.
Scottoiler,
New fork internals and oil with the front end being set up accordingly.
R&G crash bungs.
Bad points:
This was the bike i low sided on at Snetterton. At about 20-30MPH on a hairpin. Luckily the crash bungs saved the day . However it has a scuff on the lower right hand fairing due to this. No other damage at all from the low side. I have not been able to find one on ebay so selling it with this damage.
I will post up some pictured in a couple of days.
Ninja price of £3500
Any more details or questions feel free to PM.
RSV mille:
Aprilia RSV1000 Mille 2000 X reg, 22K miles. 4 months Mot, 3 months Tax
Good Bits:
Later model Bodywork
Later rear shock & Linkage
Radial Brembo Brakes with New Sintered Pads
2008 RSV1000R Radial Showa Forks including clip ons and yoke for a straight fit with no spacers, these had covered less than 2000 miles and cost a small fortune.
Genuine OZ wheels
Fabbri Double Bubble Screen
New CNC Brake & Clutch Folding Levers
Carbon Fibre Front mudguard, Chain Guard and Number Plate Bracket
Lightweight Solo subframe
Fuel Stainless Steel Road Legal Exhaust with removable baffle
Alloy Can Hanger
New Titanium Disc Bolts
New Steering head race bearings
Replaced worn suspension linkage bearings
New Iridium spark plugs
BMC Air filter
New Billet slipper clutch one way valve
Motul Oil and later model extended oil filter and cap conversion.
The bike has had a full service by myself including the valve clearances being checked within the last 100 miles, all were within tolerance.
The bad bits:
It has 11k Miles on the clocks. The previous clocks were faulty and were replaced. The current mileage of the bike is around 22k miles.
According to the old mot’s the bike had done:
5k Miles In 2003
7k Miles In 2004
13K Kilometres In 2006
9k Miles 2007
15k Miles 2009
34K Miles 2010
The Mot centre made a mistake in entering the previous Mot Mileage, it was entered as 34k Miles instead of 34k Kilometres. This is an easy mistake as the RSV Mille clocks reset to Kilometres whenever the battery is disconnected.
Some of the bodywork is tatty in places and has been resprayed at some point. There are some chips, cracks and scratches around the bike but overall it still looks reasonably good. The swinging arm has a few marks and a small dent but nothing major. The lhs air duct has a piece missing as shown in the photo.
Overall the bike looks good, it rides superb and mechanically it has been very well looked after. The later forks and radial brakes are outstanding.
New bike forces sale.
