Największe przeszkody dla silników elektrycznych to akumulatory oraz infrastruktura. Wielu producentów jest daleka od mówienia, że motoryzację zdominuje właśnie elektryka.
Zupełnie normalne jest to, że silniki benzynowe wciąż będą udoskonalane - aż nadejdzie koniec ich ery, który wydaje się nieunikniony (zbyt duże straty energii). Nadejdzie to jednak nie wcześniej niż za około 20lat - jak twierdzą mądre głowy

Nic nowego nie wymyslili, juz 5lat temu byly takie plany (robilem projekt na jakies zajecia z ekologii o przyszlosci silnikow spalinowych), widac conieco ruszylo do przodu.

O tym pomyśle już słyszałem w połowie lat 80-tych, tak samo jak o przeskoku iskry między tłokiem lub elementu(ów) tłoka a ścianą komory spalania-wszystko to jednak ograniczały istniejące wtedy technologie.
